AIM: SWBAT deliver presentations over final projects using expectations outlined; score classmate presentations using score sheet and rubric provided with at least 80% accuracy; analyze current event newspaper articles and complete review with at least 80% accuracy.
Today some of you will be delivering your Final Project presentations, and everyone will be scoring their teammates on the delivery of their presentation, and the quality of their creative visual. There are a few expectations to discuss when dealing with presentations:
- If you are delivering a presentation, you must behave as a professional- meaning no slang, laughing, lip smacking, "um's," "like's," etc.
- The audience should be silent during a presentation.
- You should be tracking the speaker at all times. You do not need to use your score sheet until after the presenter is done.
- Keep applause appropriate and wait until the presenter has finished.
Now let's get ready to enjoy some great presentations!
